Facial Recognition Technology in Facebook.

Facebook has improved its old tagging feature and has joined the likes of Microsoft Live Photo gallery be adding facial recognition.

Dubbed the “tag suggestion”, Facebook has adopted facial recognition in its tagging system and will be rolling out the feature in the coming weeks. The feature is very useful in photo software, so it depends on users whether it will be useful or not or say popular. In my opinion, it will be very interesting.

The Face recognition with the facebook’s “group tagging” will allow the users to tag a photo once and than apply it to desired or al photos. The auto- facial recognition, Facebook will make manual tagging obsolete as it will automatically apply the tags to newly uploaded photos.

Manual tagging will still work for those who want  to stuck with it.
