Thermaltake has announced the world’s first storage enclosure solution with dual-fan design, the Thermaltake Max 5G. With the dual 80mm fans, the Max 5G can effectively exhaust heat out of the storage enclosure to lower the internal temperature and thereby ensuring data integrity during file transfers between the external hard disk and your computer, as well effectively prolonging lifetime of your installed hard drive. Besides dual fans the brand new Max 5G also sports blue LEDs that give the Max 5G its special looks. The two LEDs can easily be turned off by a convenient switch on the back of the enclosure, light it as you like. Due to its slim size of 14.5×20.7×4.7 cm and 405g the Max 5G is convenient to carry along for people on the move.

In addition to its perfect appearance, the Thermaltake Max 5G also offers high compatibility by implementing eSATA as well as USB 2.0 interfaces with high transfer rates; USB 2.0 with up to 480Mbps and eSATA with up to 3Gbps.
